
I decided to do a full gusset heel instead of the short row + mini flap from the pattern because it just didn't fit me. I'm very happy with the heel now. I could have done 1 or 2 less increase rounds in retrospect but it's not too bad.

I haven't started the second one because these socks were going to be a relieving project while I'm working on the cotton Citron but if I finish the pair then I have no relief! So I picked up the citron again. I'm more than midway through section 4 and I expect to do 1, hopefully 2 more sections than the prescribed 5. We'll see about that after I finished section 5.

omg women you knit like a storm lol;0) just started sock knitting been putting it off for years but I am stuck in bed at the moment so I took the bullet between my teeth and started but I am now stuck the pattern after the heel stated pick so many st. on one needle till all four needles have st,s on them so know I am awaiting del. of more needles so to pass the time I stumbled upon your blog thank you for sharing your life with us you are an amazing talented lady ttfn Nicole (UK)
